- belongs to the lucky ones,
who the
passion to the art of illusion
inherited from their fathers.
Everything has began like a fairytale...
Being nine years old,
looking for treasures,
he decided to climb up on an old attic in the house
belonging to his family. There, he discovered treasures
indeed- a few dusted boxes, where he found mysterious
books and some very strange objects.
When he asked his Mother, what are these objects for,
she didn’t quite answer him and she forbade him
to go and look in the attic again.
Since then, when he only could,
like when his parents were at work,
Lukas began to scour the objects and with great
interest
he read the magical books- that was something really amazing!
When the Father saw his son’s passion,
they started to work on the magic program.
Lukas first spectators, were his peers- his program
was based on simple tricks and he just loved to look
on people’s faces when they were enchanted by his work.
Even when they were sad, he could make them smile
just for a while.

Lukas
Grant’s Father- Illusionist MORGANO
In time, he renewed his Father’s connections- Henryko Magico
and Jerzy Kamienski, Duo KEMO – they showed to
Lukas,
that being an illusionist is a profession
to learn the whole life.
There were rumours, that in Lodz
is located the National
Illusionist’s Club, so he didn’t wait too long and joined them.
Now he says it was a good decision he took- in this Club,
he met many excellent illusionists,
who unselfishly helped him to perfect his workshop.
When Lukas Grant was 17, he began to present his
skills
in clubs and restaurants, to- as he recalls- gain experience
and make a contact with people.
After two years he decided
to take part in a competition
during the Illusionists’ Congress in
Lodz.
His performance was a demonstration of microeffects
which met with applause
from the jury and all the spectators.
To his great joy, he was awarded with the
first prize,
with monetary award (founded by the illusionist ARIADNA,
living in US)
and Marek Zdrojewski’s prize.
That was his first success.
One
year later, on same Congress, he gained the first prize
in category „Stage illusion”. After these successes,
Lukas announces working years. And he doesn’t waste
words.
In May 2004, in
Białystok, his hometown,
he organizes „The night of Magic”.
Together with him, performed Arkadiusz CywiNski
"AREX",
Duo "KEMO" and some famous music bands.
At the beginning of 2005,
together with his cousin
-worker of the prison service- Lukasz prepared
the program of prisoner’s rehabilitation
„You can deceive differently”
and he’s presenting it in front of the prisoners.
He also makes a show in episodes for
Białystok TV-
„The magical world of Lukas Grant”
When
I’m asking him: „What’s next?”
His answer is:
„I’m still working,
because I love what
I’m doing.
Illusion is an only paradise
from which no one can drive me away”.
People come to see illusionists
performances,
because they hope to see something
in which they will not believe anyway.
It is the same way you are watching the movies-
you just sit in the cinema,
forget your troubles and you know that in a moment,
you will find yourself in a completely different,
but unfortunately, unreal world.
The world of Lukas happens
before the spectator’s eyes,
trying to stimulate people’s imagination,
to make their dream come true.
And that’s what makes him happy.
